Background

Redside is a real estate services company with a 1.3 million SF property management portfolio, over 200,000 SF in development, and hands-on experience in development asset management, development, construction, and sustainability services. Garrin Royer and Danny McGinley founded the company in 2002 with the fundamental intention of doing more good than harm. We measure our growth against the triple bottom line—people, planet, profits.

The principle of sustainability inspires us, the collective goal being to conserve resources at every level of operations and in every property we develop or manage.

When we make decisions, we consider how our actions will impact the environment and its inhabitants, no matter the scope or scale. Choosing a low VOC paint for a TI project means the tenants will enjoy better air quality. Converting part of a parking lot into a bioswale of native plants keeps storm water and petrochemicals from contaminating a community’s watershed. Donating office space to the Native Fish Society enables an established not-for-profit to concentrate precious dollars on funding its mission, not overhead.
