“When one tugs at a single thing in nature, he finds it attached to the rest of the world.”
— John Muir
Danny is as comfortable on a boat as he is in a boardroom. In fact, he’s known for bringing the lessons he’s learned from a lifetime of fly fishing and the love he has for nature’s splendors to his work at Redside. Considered a thought leader in green building, Danny works with clients to envision, develop and manage properties that push the boundaries of environmental stewardship without busting organizational bottom lines. As one of the top 10 largest commercial real estate developers in Portland, Danny’s influence can be seen throughout Oregon, from the Loyalty-Hamilton building in Downtown Portland to the 1000 Wall building in Bend. Along with his partner, Garrin Royer, Danny has helped create a corporate culture at Redside that has earned it numerous distinctions, including being named one of Oregon Business Magazine’s Best Green Companies to Work For and a Top Commercial Developer by the Portland Business Journal. Danny lives in Lake Oswego with his wife Michelle, and their two children, Jackson and Lily.
